Coms plc appoints appoints Terry Martin as CEO
Coms plc, the broadband phone service, today announced the appointment of Terry Martin as CEO.
Amongst his numerous successes, Terry was Managing Director of Scoot where he developed the company from a 'classified directory' service to a comprehensive 'Directory Enquiries' business and managed the eventual sale of the business to BT. Prior to joining Scoot, Terry worked at Ingram Micro UK as commercial sales director looking after the annual sales target of £600 million and the divisions for Apple, commercial sales and Unix. Terry also spent nine years at Apple Computers (UK) in a number of positions, including channel sales director. Terry was sales director at Samsung in 1997.
"Terry Martin's experience and expertise will enable Coms.Com to build successful distribution channels", said Jason Drummond, Chairman, "enabling us to take a leadership role in the VoIP market.
