What are the benefits of a Hosted VoIP PBX?

Coms Hosted PBX is the telephone system that gives business customers advanced telephony features such as an Automated Attendant to answer and route calls, call transfer, call forwarding, voicemail to email, a reduction in line rental as phones use the internet, geographic independence, free calls to other extensions, low cost calls to all other phones and a wide range of business tools, without having to install any equipment in your office all for a low monthly fee.

Our Hosted PBX service grows with your business, new extensions and new offices can be added without disruption. If you move premises, all you need is a Broadband connection and your communications will be up and running.

Excellent Call Quality

Coms VoIP platform includes an Ericsson Class 5 telecoms switch, which is used to terminate calls to our Tier1 interconnect partners. Coms is a “single hop” VoIP service, only the call from you to us is over VoIP, the terminating leg of the call is completed over traditional TDM circuits, which reduces latency, codec changes and delivers better call quality to our customers.

Carrier Class Platform

Coms’s carrier class platform is fully redundant and hosted in a leading London data centre, so if the broadband connection to your office is offline, calls will still be answered and routed to your plan, which typically includes forwarding to landline or mobiles phones if the IP phones are not online.

Hosted PBX service compared to Traditional PBX

How it works?

VoIP telephony uses the internet (Voice over Internet Protocol) to make and receive phone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a standard phone line.

Using Coms Hosted PBX services you don't need a traditional PBX installed in your office. Incoming calls are answered and routed by our servers to any phone, wherever it is. So you can have a switchboard that is routing sales calls to Halifax and technical support calls to Hanover, and all OnNet calls are free.

Benefits of our UK voip service include, free internet OnNet calls (VoIP user to VoIP user), Call Hold, Call Transfer, Voice mail to Email, and lot more features than traditional PBX systems.

Coms Hosted PBX features

The main feature of Hosted PBX services is that you do not need to purchase, install and support hardware at your premises as the service is delivered to you via IP phones, wherever they are, for a low monthly fee.

Hosted VoIP PBX is also "future proof", as soon as we introduce new features, we roll them out to our customers.
